Pursat is one of Cambodia’s provinces which borders clockwise from north Battambang Province, Kampong Chhnang Province, Kampong Speu Province, and Koh Kong Province. Pursat Province is located between Tonle Sap and Phnom Krovanh. This province is the fourth largest province in Cambodia.
The economy of Pursat Province is based on agricultural farming, fishery, rice and fruit cropping.
You can reach Pursat Province by boat, rail, bus, or own transportation. The distance from Phnom Penh to Pursat Province is about 198 kilometers. If you wish to travel by bus, it will take around 5 hours with the price of USD 7.50 to USD 9.50, and for VIP van, it will take around 4 hours with the price of USD 8.
