Tatai Village, Ta Tai Commune, Smach Meanchey District, Koh Kong Province

Tatai Waterfall is located in Tatai Village, Ta Tai Commune, Smach Meanchey District, Koh Kong Province, about 20 kilometers east of Koh Kong provincial town. Tatai Waterfall is a large rocky cascade located in the middle of the jungle setting in the Tatai river. Tatai Waterfall has two stages. The first stage is 5 to 6 meters high, and the second stage is 12 to 15 meters high. The view of the waterfall is amazing in all seasons since the waterfall flows all year round; however, the waterfall is more spectacular in the rainy season with full water flow.

Things to Do

There are many interesting activities to enjoy there. You will enjoy the wonderful view of the waterfall and along the river. Kayaking is also available there. Most importantly, you can enjoy swimming all year round even if the water levels drop in the dry season.


You can rent a boat from the community or one of the eco resorts there to travel from Tatai bridge to the waterfall, which takes around 1 hour with slow boat. By traveling by boat, you can enjoy amazing scenery along the way.
